Made by Boxcar Press in Syracuse, New York
This letterpress print illustrates the seven historic lighthouses remaining along the Hudson River, which span over one hundred and fifty miles of water and almost two hundred years of history. They bear witness to the boom of shipping and commerce on the Hudson, which helped make New York the largest city and port on the East Coast of the United States. All data was collected from the National Park Service Marine Heritage program and the United States Coast Guard.
